The Voltron Lions were on their way to investigate the strange cloud that was approaching Arus. But as the team drew closer, other eyes were investigating their movements as well
Prince Lotor, the evil prince from Planet Doom, watched through his monitor from his warship, the Revenge. Next to him, was his servant... Witch Hagar. The demise of Planet Doom was primarily at the hands of the Voltron Force. Lotor was also severely injured to the point that his face was disfigured, and he lost his right arm completely. Lotor has always had bitterness toward Voltron, but now, he had a new reason to despise him.
All, that is, but the pilot of the Blue Lion...the beautiful Princess Allura. It has always been Lotor's desire to possess her for his own. Marriage to her would make conquering her home planet of Arus very easy. That was just one of the reasons for having her. Another reason was that he was obsessed with her beauty and charm.
Allura, however, did not return his affections, nor did she desire to be anywhere near him for any length of time.
Now thanks to "the cloud", that may soon change. Lotor was sure he had a plan that would ensure him the swift capture of the Princess. The cloud had special magnetic and Laison properties, and once the Princess's Blue Lion came close enough to it, Lotor would command Witch Hagar to draw her into it. Thus, she would be trapped, and the cloud would then bring her to the Revenge. The remaining four lions could then be easily destroyed by Hagar's awaiting, Ultra Robeast. Without Blue Lion, they would be unable to form Voltron.
If all worked according to his plans, no one would be able to stop him! He dwelled on the plan fondly, as he watched the robot lions move ever closer toward the cloud.
"Soon, I will finally have Allura as my bride, isn't that right, old witch?" Lotor sneered.
"Don't count it all glory yet, Lotor," warned Hagar, "You still don't have her yet, and you have to deal with those miserable lions first!'
"Don't worry about that," Lotor replied, "I have everything under control!"
"Listen to me, Lotor," Hagar crooned, "you must act carefully, or you may endanger the Princess's life. There's a lot of uncontrollable energy in that cloud we've created."
"Don't you think I know that, old witch!" Lotor shouted. "I know what I'm doing."
"I hope you do, Lotor." Hagar hissed back. "The power you play with is very strong, Sire."
Lotor looked into his monitor. "Soon, Allura, soon you will be mine forever!!"
Then Lotor let out a hideous, sinister laugh.
